Rocket Ride tut...


Supplies used:
Space-Ace tube from the wonderful Michael Miles for AIL
From the Earth to The Moon Scrapkit by Digicats (and Dogs) Get it at TKO Scraps.
Eyecandy 4000 Gradient glow and HSB noise
Font: Tycho
Mask of choice
FYI...You could grab my Rocket Ride  wordart and skip some time too ;)

Open a new image size 800 by 800. ( I Know huge but I was unsure so I worked large and resized at the end)
C/P Frame 5.
Use your magic wand to select the inside of the frame.
Selections, Modify, Expand by 5. Add a new raster layer.
C/P Paper 10 into selection.
Add a new raster layer. Create a gradient using to colors from your tube. Floodfill with Gradient. Deselect.
Change the gradient layer property to Darken.
C/P Rocket 1. Resize by 50%. Position under frame. Change layer property to Burn.
C/P Gears 02. Resize by 50%. Use your deform tool to position on and angle.
C/P Florish. Resize by 50% and duplicate. Position both under the gears with your deform tool.
C/P Starlight Swirl. Resize by 75%. Position under gears.
C/P Planet 01. Resize by 30%. Position on the right side of the frame.
C/P Asteroid. Resize by 30% and position next to planet.
C/P Chicken Wire. Duplicate, Flip, And mirror.
Select your background layer. C/P Paper 23. 
Layers, Load save mask.
Merge group.
Type out your font.
Add Inner Bevel of choice
Then Eyecandy 4000 HSB Noise...
Repeat HSB Noise
Repeat Inner bevel
Add Gradient glow of 3 in a contrasting color.
Add dropshadow of choice.

Rocket Ride Wordart...

Just a quick wordart inspired by the wonderful Michael Miles. This matches a soon to be released tube call Space-Ace that will be available at AIL. Oh and if you are not familiar with his work go check out his facebook fanpage HERE or find his art at ArtWanted Lyrics are from the song Rocket Ride.

Devilish Beauty tut...



Supplies used:
Holy Mess kit by Bibi's Collection. Get it at SATC
Jessica tube by my brutal babe Miss Freya Langford-Sidebottom. Get it at AIL
Filter: Eyecandy 4000 Gradient glow (Font Only)
Font: Jellyka's Castle Queen
Mask of Choice

 Open a new image size 500 by 500.
C/P Element 53 (Frame). Resize by 60%.
C/P tube. Erase any bits that hang over the frame.
Select your frame. Use you magic wand to select the inside of the frame. Selections, Modify, Expand by 5. Add a new raster layer. C/P Paper 2 into selection and deselect.
C/P Element 39 (Tribal Flower). Resize by 50%. Mirror. Position on the bottom right of the frame.
C/P Element 59 (Martini Glass). Resize by 30%. Duplicate and position under the edge of the tribal flowers.
C/P Element 29 (Black Bottle). Resize by 50%. Duplicate and position under the tribal flowers toward the center of the frame.
C/P Element 88 (Skull Bottle). Resize by 50%. Position under the other side of the glasses.
C/P Element 45 (Feather). Resize by 50%. Duplicate a few time and position so it peeks out from under the flowers.
C/P Element 63 (Ankh). Resize by 50% and mirror. Position over the bottom of the skull bottle.
C/P Element 60 (Lips). Resize by 50%. Use your deform tool to position over the bottom of the ankh.
C/P Element 58 (Skull). Resize by 25%. Duplicate and position next to the lips.
C/P Element 89 (Razor). Resize by 25%. Position under the edge of the roses. Duplicate and use the deform tool to position.
C/P Element 44 (Curled Ribbon). Resize by 50%.
Image, Rotate, Free rotate 90 degrees left. Position along the frame under your elements. Duplicate, Flip, And mirror. Move next to the original.
C/P Element 10 (Sparkle). Position over the bottom of the tag.
Type out your font and add a gradient glow of 3.
Click your background layer and C/P Paper 11. Add mask of chioce and merge group

Bow Down tut...



Supplies used:
Betty Page tube is by the sexy Mr. Michael Miles and is available at AIL.
Dragon Queen kit by Purple. Get it HERE.
Font: Redfive and Neverwinter
Filter: Eyecandy 4000 Gradient Glow and Glass


Open a new image size 500 by 500.
C/P frame 2. Resize by 85%.
Select the inside of the frame. Selections, Modify, Expand by 4.
Add a new raster layer and C/P Paper 5 into selection. Deselect.
Position under the frame layer.
C/P Moon. Resize by 85%. Position so it sits out from under the frame.
C/P Pillar 2. Duplicate and mirror. (I moved my duplicate under the frame and paper)
C/P Cage. Resize by 50%. Position so it looks like it is hanging from the frame.
C/P Candles. Resize by 50%. Duplicate and change layer property to multiply. Merge candles together. Duplicate again and position slightly down from the first.
C/P Skulls. Resize by 50%. Duplicate and position one at the bottom of each side of the frame.
C/P Bullwhip. Resize by 75%. Change the hue/Saturation both to 0. Mirror and position.
C/P BallNChain. Resize by 50% and mirror.
C/P Cuffs. Resize by 50%. Position to hang from the chain of Ball Chain.
Type out your font for the bottom using the Red Five font. 
Apply Eyecandy 4000 Glass...
Then Gradient glow...
Duplicate your font. On the original apply Gaussian blur.
Go to selections, Select all , Float. Take your paintbrush and just go over the selection to change it to the color of the font. Deselect.
 Repeat with the Neverwinter font for your name.

Kissin' Frogs & Chasin' Rainbows Forum Style tut...(FTU)



Supplies used:
Celinart Prepay tube #5 St Patrick's Girl. These sell fast so get her now at SATC
The Goodies Garden by my girl Tasha's Playground. Get it HERE
Font: Swan Song
Filter: Eyecandy 4000 Gradient Glow (Font Only)


Start with a new canvas size 650 by 250.
C/P Paper 4.
C/P Cloud. Change Layer property to Soft Light.
C/P Tree 2. Move down so your branches are showing. Change Layer property to soft light.
C/P Rainbow. Resize by 75%. Position so the end falls in the right bottom corner. Duplicate.
C/P Branch 2. Resize by 50%. DON'T POSITION YET as it will be easier to position with the leaves.
C/P Leaves. Resize by 30%. Position under the flowers. The stems should line up but if they don't just erase them. Duplicate, Mirror, and flip. Align the stems again. 
Merge Branch 2 and leaves together. 
Position up the right side of the tag. Change layer property to Luminance (L).
C/P Branch. Resize by 75%. Position on the left side of tag.
C/P Petals. Resize by 50%. Use the deform tool to reposition petals.
C/P Flower 3. Resize by 30%. Duplicate and move slightly up from the original.
C/P Frog. Resize by 30%. Deform to Line frog up with the paper part of the bouquet.  Dropshadow frog.
If you like use your eraser tool to remove the rest of the paper from the bouquet.
C/P Your tube.
Use your crop tool around the entire tag. This just assures no matter what format you save in all the excess is gone.
Type out your font. Add Inner Bevel of choice. (I always use the same one so if you want it scroll down a few tuts and I know you will find it :)
Add Gradient glow of 3 in a contrasting color.
Add dropshadow.

SteamPunk Symphony Tut...


Supplies used:
Steampunker tube by Screaming Demons. Get it at SATC 
Steampunk Sass kit by A Tagger's Scrap. Get it at SATC 
Filters: Eyecandy 4000 Gradient Glow and HSB Noise
Font: High Society
 Mask By Staci (Whateva Mask 1) Get is from Creative Misfits HERE

Open a new image size 600 by 600.
C/P Frame 5. Resize by 75%.
Use your magic wand to select inside both sides of the frame. Selections, Modify, Expand by 5. 
Add a new raster layer. C/P Paper 11 into selection. Deselect and move under the frame.
Dropshadow frame.
C/P Tube. Use your eraser to remove any bits that hang over the frame. Add Dropshadow.
Type out the test for the base of the frame. (Or go down one post and just use my wordart :)
Add Eye candy 4000 Chrome...
Then go to Adjust, Color Balance, Manual color correction...
Then Eye Candy 4000 HSB Noise...
Go to Effects, 3D Effects, Inner Bevel...
Then Gradient Glow....(I used a light color from the top of the tube)
Add Drop Shadow of Choice.
Repeat Gradient Glow in a dark color (I used on of my flower elements)
Repeat drop Shadow.
C/P Bow 8. Resize by 75%. Position over the corner of the frame so it hangs down the side. Add Dropshadow.
C/P Floral 2. Resize by 50%. position at the bottom of the frame and add dropshadow.
C/P Floral 1. Resize by 75%. Position over Floral 1 and dropshadow.
C/P Hatbox. Resize by 40%. position under the floral layer so your lid peeks out from behind them. Dropshadow.
C/P Candle. Resize by 30%. Position at the bottom of Floral 1 and add dropshadow.
C/P Heart. Image, Mirror. Resize by 75%. Position under both Floral elements and add dropshadow.
C/P Butterfly 4. Image, Mirror. Resize by 30%. Add Dropshadow and position on the bottom flower of Floral 2.
Select your background layer. Go to selections, Select all.
Add a new raster layer and C/P Paper 20 into selection. Deselect.
Open your mask. Layers, New Mask Layer, From Image. Source Luminance checked. Invert mask unchecked.
Go to layers, Merge Group.
Duplicate mask. Images, Rotate, Free Rotate, 90 Degrees all layers unchecked.

Don't forget your copyright and watermark.
Add your name using the same steps from the font above.

Letters In The Sand Tut



Supplies used:
Mermaid tube by Edward Reed. I bought this tube from CILM which is no longer open. However I did my research and found his art is now available at PTE.
Scrapkit called Splash! By the wonderful Tashas Playground. You can get it at SATC
Filters: Eyecandy 4000 Glass and gradient glow (font)
Fonts used: Grimmy and Redfive (Name)

Open a new image size 600 by 600.
C/P frame 4. Resize by 75%.
Click the inside of the frame with your magic wand. Selections, Modify, Expand by 5. Add a new raster layer and move under the frame. C/P Paper 11 into selection. (I wanted a purple background so I added another layer floodfill with purple under the paper. Then change the layer property of the paper to Luminance.)
Deselect.
C/P sparkle 2 and position over the paper. (use your eraser on any bits outside the frame if desired)
Dropshadow frame.
C/P sand. Position just over the frame. Duplicate and mirror. Merge Down. Duplicate again and change layer property to Multiply.
C/P Seaweed. Resize by 50%. Dropshadow. Duplicate and Mirror. Duplicate again and position at the center of the frame.
C/P Seaweed 2. Resize by 50%. Position to one side of the frame. duplicate and mirror.
C/P Wave. Resize by 75%. Position over the bottom of the seaweed.
Dropshadow. Duplicate and mirror.
C/P Jellyfish. Resize by 30%. Add Dropshadow and duplicate.
C/P Fish 3. Resize by 30%. Dropshadow and duplicate.
C/P Fish 1. Resize by 30%. Dropshadow and duplicate.
Use your deform tool to vary the positions of those elements.
C/P Tube. Dropshadow.
C/P Anchor. Resize by  50%. Dropshadow. Use deform tool to position.
C/P Bottle. Resize by 30%. Dropshadow.
C/P Starfish 2. Resize by 30%. Dropshadow.
C/P Starfish. Resize by 30%. Dropshadow.
(The orange starfish is from my tube...If you like you can always duplicate and mirror one of the starfish from the kit.)
C/P Clamshell. Resize by 20%. Dropshadow.
C/P Marble. Resize by 15%. Position in clamshell.
C/P Shell. Resize by 30%. Mirror. Add dropshadow.
C/P Shell 3. Resize by 30%. Dropshadow.

With the Grimmy font size 24 Create as floating type out your font (for 2 lines like mine you will have to repeat the steps or use spaces to get line 2 in the correct position)
DO NOT CONVERT TO RASTER.
Promote selection to layer. Hit delete. Now you should have only the floating outline with no background.
DO NOT DESELECT.
Add Inner Bevel 2 Times with these settings...
And drop shadow 3 times with these settings....
Now deselect. Use your move and deform tools to position how you want it.
For your name select the red five font. Select a color from your tube as the foreground and a contrasting color as the background. Close the foreground. On your background click the gradient tab and use these settings...
Type out your font as a vector and convert to raster.
Add Glass....
Then Gradient Glow...
The dropshadow.

Always Blue...(FTU)


Supplies used:
Tubes by Celinart called Marie It's Always So Rock and Marie So Rock (Blue). You can get them both at SATC.
Kit called Always Blue-Emo from Randy's Sin. Get it HERE.
Font called Satisfaction
Eye Candy 4000 Glass

Start with a new image size 500 by 500.
C/P Frame 1. Resize by 60%. Add eyecandy 4000 glass. (I always use the same setting so if you really want mine scroll down a few posts I know if will be in one of em LMAO)
Use your magic wand to click inside both frames. Selections, Modify, Expand by 5.
Add a new raster layer. C/P Paper 7 into selection. Deselect. Move under the frame layer.
Now use your magic wand to select inside ONLY the smaller frame. C/P Your close up as a new layer. Position as desired under the frame. Selections, Invert, Delete.
Select none. Duplicate the close up. On the original change the layer property to Luminance. On the duplicate Luminance Legacy.
Dropshadow your frame layer.
C/P Flooring. Resize by 25%. Position behind the frame and paper layers.
C/P Winged Heart 1. Resize by 20%. Use your deform tool to position along the smaller frame.
C/P Rose 3. Resize by 20%. Duplicate. Position where the frames meet.
C/P Crystals. Resize by 20%. Position under the top of the roses. Duplicate and flip. 
C/P Feather. Resize by 20%. Use your deform tool to position along the side of the top frame. Duplicate and move slightly down.
C/P Candle 3. Resize by 20%. Position under the roses.
Duplicate and position. (I used my eraser to remove the bottom of the lower candle.)
C/P Your tube. Dropshadow.
Type out the font and add inner Bevel then Drop Shadow of choice.

Flowers In The Garden tut...(FTU)



Supplies used:
Tube by Tatyana Haustova. Get it at AIL.
Gorgeous scrapkit by NumbBUMM called Bloom. Make sure you grab all 3 downloads from her blog HERE.
Font is WaterBrush ROB

Ok let's get started..
Open a new image size 600 by 600.
C/P Frame 3. Resize by 20%.
Use your magic wand tool to select the inside of the frame. Selections, Modify, Expand by 3. Add a new raster layer. C/P Paper 7 into selection. Deselect and move under the frame.
C/P Frame 1. Resize by 20%. Selections, Select all, Float.
Add a new raster layer. C/P Paper 12 into selection. Deselect and delete the original.
Add inner bevel...
Type out your background text. I used a quote from Alfred Lord Tennyson. Convert to raster. Change the layer property to Hard Light.
C/P Clock. Resize by 10%. Add Dropshadow.
C/P Flower 7. Resize by 20%. Position under the clock. Duplicate a few times and position branches up the side of the frame.
C/P Bouquet. Resize by 10%. Position in the top left corner UNDER the branches. Duplicate a few time and position under the clock.
C/P Flower 6. Resize by 10%.Duplicate a few times and position around the clock. I used 2 over the clock and the rest I positioned between the bouquet and clock layers.
 C/P Scatter. Resize by 20%. Position just under the roses. Duplicate and mirror.
C/P tube (The large pink flower is part of my tube.) Add Dropshadow.
C/P Butterfly 2. Resize by 10% . Add Dropshadow and duplicate.
Type out your name and add inner bevel same as before.

Simple Romance (FTU)



Supplies Used:
Tube by Kim Draper. Get it at AIL
Romancing the Heart kit by Vaybs. get it HERE.
Font: Vladimir
Filter: EyeCandy 4000 Gradient Glow (Font only)

Open a new image size 500 by 500.
C/P Element 30. Resize by 50%. Use the deform tool to position on a slight angle.
C/P Element 25. Resize by 50%. Duplicate and mirror. Position over the original. Merge down. Use deform tool to line up over the fence heart. Add drop Shadow.
Using your lasso tool select all the way around the heart. Add a new raster layer.
C/P Paper 4 into selection. Do not deselect yet.
 C/P Your close up tube as a new layer. Position inside selection.
C/P element 2 as a new layer. Position inside your selection. Keep selected.
Go to selections, Invert, Delete on both the tube and words. Deselect.
Change the layer property of your close up tube to Luminance.
Change the Layer property of the words to overlay and duplicate.
C/P Element 11. Resize by 50%. use your deform tool to position along the top of the heart frame.
C/P Element 9. Resize by 25%. Duplicate and position over the empty bits of the rope.
C/P Element 20. Resize by 25%. Use your deform tool to position along the side of the heart. Duplicate and flip. Position along the heart frame.
Type out your name. Add inner bevel of choice. 
Add gradient Glow of 3 set to fat.
Add dropshadow of choice.
C/P You tube and add dropshadow of choice.

Irish Knockout tut...



Supplies Used:
Oi Irish tube by Screaming Demons. Get it at SATC.
Irish Charm Scrapkit by Broken Dreams Scraps. Also available at SATC
Template 130 by my wonderful friend Leah. Get it at Amy & Leah's Gimptastic Tuts.
Font: Velvenda Cooler
Filters: EyeCandy 4000 Gradient Glow and Glass.

Open up template #130.
Delete the copyright and background layers.
I changed my canvas size to 800 by 800 so I had room to work.
Select Circle #3. Selections, Select all. Add new raster layer and C/P Paper 10 into selection. Deselect and delete the original circle.
Select Rectangle #2. Add new raster layer and C/P Paper 9 into selection. Deselect and delete the original rectangle.
Select Rectangle #1. Add new raster layer and C/P Paper 8 into selection. Deselect and delete the original rectangle.
Select Square 2. Add new raster layer and C/P Paper 6 into selection. Deselect and delete the original Square.
 Select Square 1. Add new raster layer and C/P Paper 2 into selection. Deselect and delete the original Square.
  Select Circle 1. Add new raster layer and C/P Paper 1 into selection. Deselect and delete the original Circle.
 Select Circle 2. Add new raster layer and C/P Paper 1 into selection. Deselect and delete the original Circle.
 C/P Your tube. Use your eraser to remove  any bits of the frame/tube that are excess. Dropshadow both.
C/P Element 49. Resize by 50%. Position along the top of the rectangle one layer. Use your eraser to remove any excess.
Duplicate and position at the bottom of rectangle 1.
Duplicate. Image, Rotate, Free rotate. 90 Degrees right. Position along one side of Rectangle one. Duplicate and mirror.
Merge all the ribbon layers together. Add drop shadow.
C/P Element 13. Resize by 50%. Position under one side of the squares. Add Glass...

Duplicate and mirror.
C/P Element 55. Resize by 30%. Position just under the edge of the wordart. Dropshadow. Duplicate and move slightly up and over.
C/P Element 1. Resize by 50%. Position just under the edge of the wordart. Dropshadow. Duplicate and move slightly up and over.
C/P Element 50. Resize by 50%. Position under your green beer. Dropshadow.
C/P Element 7. Resize by 15%. Duplicate a few time and position next to the pot of gold.
C/P Element 29. Resize by 50%. Position under pot of gold.
C/P Element 9. Resize by 30%.
C/P Element 19. Resize by 30%.
C/P  Element 51. Resize by 20%. Use the deform tool to position over wordart. Duplicate 2 time. Change Layer property on both duplicates to Multiply.
Select Words 2 Back. Add inner Bevel...

Then Gradient glow...
 Then Dropshadow.
 Select Words 2 and add dropshadow.
 Resize now if you need too :)
Add your copyright and watermark.
Add your font. Repeat Inner Bevel, Gradient Glow, Dropshadow



Drinkin' and Fightin' Tut...


Supplies Used:
Oi Irish tube by Screaming Demons. Get it at SATC
Lucky Clover kit by Rebellious Scraps. Get it at SATC.
Template from 2 Irish Bitches. Get it HERE.
Font: Scrap Cursive
Filter: Eye Candy 4000 Gradient Glow, Glass, And HSB Noise.

C/P Scatter. move to the bottom layer.
Select raster 1. Selections, Select all, Float. Add a new raster layer. C/P Paper 11 into selection. Deselect and delete original.
Select raster 2. Selections, Select all, Float. Add a new raster layer. C/P Paper 9 into selection. Deselect and delete original.
 Select raster 3. Selections, Select all, Float. Add a new raster layer. C/P Paper 10 into selection. Deselect and delete original.
 Select raster 4. Selections, Select all, Float. Add a new raster layer. C/P Paper 6 into selection. Deselect and delete original. Duplicate and change the layer property to multiply.
C/P Crystal Rain. Resize by 50%. Duplicate and mirror. 
On paper 6 layer Selections, Select all, Float, Invert. Back on the crystal rain layer hit delete.
Deslect.
C/P Chain. Resize by 50%. Duplicate and mirror.
Select the top Square layer. Selections, Select all, Float. Add a new raster layer. C/P Paper 12 into selection. Deselect and delete original.
C/P Tube.
C/P Clover Chain. Resize by 50%. Position the the corner of paper 12.
Select raster 6.  Selections, Select all, Float. Add a new raster layer. C/P Paper 7 into selection. Deselect and delete original.
 Select raster 7.  Selections, Select all, Float. Add a new raster layer. C/P Paper 2 into selection. Deselect and delete original.
C/P Irish Beer. Resize by 30%. Duplicate and move up a bit.
C/P Whisky. Resize by 30%. Position over beer.
C/P Necklace. Resize by 30%. I used my deform tool to position so the clover charm landed between the Irish girl words.
Select the Irish Girls words. Add Glass...
and Gradient glow...
Then Dropshadow
Select the Drink word. Add HSB noise...
And Inner Bevel...
Then repeat gradient glow and drop shadow.
Repeat on all the rest of the wordart and your font.
Back on your large Clover add Inner Bevel.
Add your copyright and watermark.
