Vulgar Display Of Power
Dear Joe Four
Ok so this is not at all my typical style but I thought this came out cute and figured I would share :)
Open HP Ribbon Frame. Canvas resize to about 800. (you can always ajdust your canvas size as you go along. I do this all the time then just crop and resize when I am done.)
Using your magic wand tool select the middle of your frame. Selections, Modify, expand by 3. Add a new raster layer. Floodfill with your gradient. (If you do not have a good Halloween gradient you can always make one. Use your eyedropper tool to chose a red or orange shade. Then swap your foreground and background colors. Use the eyedropper to select a orange/yellow shade. Then on your foreground choose the gradient tab. Style Linear. Angle 45. Repeats 2) I changed the opacity on my gradient layer to 55% but this will very depending on your gradient. KEEP SELECTED.
Add another new raster layer. C/P Paper HP-P8 into selection. Deselect. Change layer properties to overlay.
Select your frame layer and move it back to the top. Dropshadow.
C/P HP-Emo boy. Resize by 75%. Position so it looks like he is standing on the right side of the frame at the bottom. Dropshadow.
C/P HP-Emo Girl. Resize by 75%. Position so it looks like she is standing on the left side of the frame at the bottom. The tubes will overlap slightly in the center.Dropshadow.
Open element HP-F-Heart. Select just the heart with you lasso tool. Delete heart. Deselect. Resize by 50% Duplicate 2 times for a total of 3. Position flames just under your frame layer. If any bits stick out just use your eraser tool to remove them.
C/P H/P Bats. Position on the right side of the frame near the middle. Dropshadow.
C/P H/P Spooky tree. Resize by 75%. Dropshadow. I moved mine so it was under my girl tube.
C/P HP-Hanging Bat. Resize by 50%. Position above the heads of your tubes so it looks like he is hanging from the frame. Dropshadow.
C/P HP-Cat2. Resize by 50%. Dropshadow. Position on the right side of the tree roots.
C/P HP-Candy corn 1. Resize by 50% 2 times. Dropshadow. I duplicated mine several times and used mu deform tool to make them look like they are scattered at the base of the tree.
C/P HP-Firework. Resize by 50%. Duplicate 2 times for a total of 3. Using your deform tool position under the top left side of your frame. Merge the fireworks layers together. Duplicate. Flip. Mirror.
Using your Gradient as the background foreground nil select a large blocky font. Mine is Vulgar Display Of Power. Type out Halloween Hijinks. Stretch so it runs the length of your tag. Convert to raster layer. Effects, 3d effects, Inner bevel with these settings...
Add a black Gradient glow these settings...
Add your dropshadow.
Then using your script font, Mine is Dear Joe Four, Background black, Foreground Nil, Type out Ready for some. Position this so it sits just on top of your Hijinks font. I moved mine to the left side of the text. Use the same Gradient glow setting but on tab 2 change your colors. This is what mine looked like...
Inner bevel same settings as before. Dropshadow.
Use your script font and repeat the gradient glow, Bevel, And dropshadow for your name.
And Copyrights and watermarks.
I love this one!!!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely going to have to try this one out as soon as I can.
