Fading Reality tut...(Animated)

Picture frame of choice (Mine is called Edge Design 01...no clue where I got it)

Animation Shop

Open a new image size 500 by 500.

Flood fill black.

Apply picture frame.

Adjust, Color Balance, Manual color correct to purple.

Apply Fine Leather with these settings...

Selections, Select all.

Add a new raster layer.

C/P Paper 10 into selection.

Deselect.

Apply mask of choice and merge group.

C/P Element 137.

Resize by 30%. Dropshadow.

Duplicate.

Position over the top right of the mask.

C/P Element 63.

Resize by 60%. Dropshadow.

Using your magic wand tolerance set to 10 select the inside of the mirror. (If necessary use your lasso tool set to remove to deselect any parts of the frame on the mirror.)

C/P your tube.

Selections, Invert, Delete.

Deselect.

Change the layer property to screen and the opacity to 70.

C/P Element 123.

 Resize by 30%. Dropshadow.

Use your deform tool to position.
C/P the following Elements:
Element 16
Element 17
Element 19
Element 21
Element 37.
Resize each element by 20% and dropshadow.
Type out your text.
Apply inner bevel of choice.
Dropshadow.
Add Eyecandy 4000 Gradient Glow of 5...Tab 2 should look like this....

 Don't forget to add your copyright & watermark.
If your choose not to animate just save your tag here. You can remove the frame and black fill layer too as it still looks good without it :)

To animate:
Copy merged and paste into animation shop.
Back in PSP lower the tube layer opacity to 60.
Copy merged and paste into animation shop after the current frame.
Back in PSP lower the tube layer opacity to 50.
Copy merged and paste into animation shop after the current frame.
Back in PSP lower the tube layer opacity to 40.
Copy merged and paste into animation shop after the current frame.
Back in PSP lower the tube layer opacity to 30.
Copy merged and paste into animation shop after the current frame.
Back in PSP lower the tube layer opacity to 20.
Copy merged and paste into animation shop after the current frame.
Back in PSP lower the tube layer opacity to 10.
Copy merged and paste into animation shop after the current frame.

Hit Shift + D on your keyboard to duplicate the animation.
Click on frame 1 of the duplicate.
Selections, Select all.
Animations, Reverse frames.
Copy and paste after current frame of your original animation.
Click frame 1 and hit selections, Select all.
Change the frame properties to 30.
View your animation.
Save with the following settings....

Clockwork Princess tut...(Animated)

Ok so a word of forewarning on this tut...I played with this for awhile to try and get it the way I wanted it. There may be ways to eliminate steps in the process but I would recommend this tut only for very experienced PSP'ers. I am gonna explain what I did the best I can for you but I may miss a few steps and such along the way!

What I used:

Kato Steampunk tube by Celinart Pinup. Get it HERE.

Steam Punk'd kit from Manipulated By Magic. Get it HERE.

Fall Template from Angi. Get it from Creative Misfits.

Fine Leather Texture (Included in PSP 9)

Tramages Tow The Line

Eyecandy 4000 Gradient Glow

Brushes of choice (Or a mask)

Animation Shop

Font: Steampuff

Open up the template and delete credits, Word Art, And bottom right gradient layers.

Select the background layer and flood fill black.

Add a new raster layer.

Apply your brushes or mask of choice. (If using a mask don't forget to merge the group after applying.)

Move the center circle frame above the center gradient circle.

Apply inner bevel of choice to center circle frame.

Dropshadow the layers titled Bottom Left Rectangle & Top Right Rectangle (They are actually the large circle layers.)

Dropshadow all 4 thin rectangle layers.

C/P Hot Air Balloon.

Resize by 75%. Dropshadow.

Position just under the right edge of the center circle back.

Select the top Left gradient Rectangle.

Selections, Select all, float.

Add a new raster layer.

C/P Paper 15 into selection.

Add another new raster layer.

C/P Paper 14 into selection.

Deselect.

Delete original rectangle layer.

Dropshadow Paper 15 layer.

Change the layer property on Paper 14 to Luminance (L).

Select the Center circle back layer.

Apply the fine leather texture with these settings...

Then apply the tramages Tow The Line with these settings...

Dropshadow.

Select the Center Gradient Circle layer.

Selections, Select all, Float.

Add a new raster layer.

C/P Paper 2 into selection.

Deselect.

Change the layer  property to overlay.

C/P Jars.Image, Mirror.

Resize by 60%. Dropshadow.

Position over the basket of the hot air balloon.

C/P Roses.

Resize by 40%. Dropshadow.

Position over the top center jar.

C/P Hat.

Resize by 30%. Dropshadow.

Position over the bottom left of the jars.

C/P Pocket Watch.

Resize by 20%. Dropshadow.

Position to the right of the hat.

C/P Binoculars.

Resize by 25%. Dropshadow.

Position over the bottom right of the watch and jars.

C/P your tube. Dropshadow.

(I added Hat 2 resize by 25% to my tube.)

Apply inner bevel of choice.

Add gradient Glow of 3 in black.

Don't forget to add your copyright and watermarks.

Now I am gonna move on to the animation and this is where everything it gonna get tricky as I used a trial of process and error to get the look I wanted. Now you can eliminate the paper overlay we created earlier and save yourself some trouble but I liked the way it looked and wanted to have it in the final product.

In Animation Shop make sure propagate paste is checked.

In PSP Open Gear 2.

Adjust, Hue/Saturation both set to 0.

Resize by 30%. All Layers checked.

Copy into animation shop.

Go to Effects, Insert Image Effect and apply these settings. (Ignore the watch it is the gear I just didnt print screen during the process.)

Close all the layers in psp except the gradient.

Image, Copy merged.

Paste into PSP as a new image.

Duplicate the tag layer so you have 19 frames.

Select frame one then go to edit, Select all.

On your rotating gear click frame 1 then go to edit, Select all.

Drag your gear over the tag and position so that the entire gear is inside the gradient circle.

If you want to add more gears like I did just hit the back button on the gear and drag to your image again. You can also hit the reverse frames button on the gear to make it rotate the opposite direction. Just remember to always have all your frame checked and drag from frame 1 to frame 1.

This is the part where things got a little tricky cause I wanted that green overlay. Again you can totally skip this part and your tag will look fine just the gears will stand out a bit more.

Make sure all your tag frames are select and copy image.

Paste into PSP as a new image. Each frame should show up as a new layer.

On your original template in psp open & select the overlay layer and copy (Do NOT copy merged.)

Paste onto your new image with the rotating gears.

Position over the gradient layer and gears.

You will need to duplicate the overlay so you have an even number with the gradients.

Take the top overlay layer and merge it down to the top frame layer.

Close this layer so the following ones are easier to work on.

Repeat for every frame layer.

Reopen all the layers and save as a .psd.

Open the PSD in animation shop.

Selections, Select all.

Change the animation frame properties to 20.

Back in PSP close all layers but the frame layer.

C/P into animation shop as a new image.

Drag the frame to frame 1 of the animation and position to cover the edges of the gears and gradient.

Back in psp close all your layers.

Open the layers from your Center Circle back layers (This is the textured Tow the Line Layer) down to the background layer.

Copy Merged and paste into animation shop as a new animation.

Duplicate frames for a total of 19.

Select frame 1 and then hit select all.

Drag frame 1 of the gradient & Gears to frame 1 of the background.

Back in PSP close all your layers.

Open all layers from the Jars up.

Copy Merged and paste into animation shop as a new frame.

Drag to frame 1 of your animation.

Winter Dreams tut...(Animated)

Close layer for now.

Add another new raster layer.

Apply VDL Adrenaline again but hit the random seed button once.

Close the layer for now.

Add another new raster layer.

Close the layer for now. 

Deselect.

C/P Element 8.

Resize by  50%. Dropshadow.

Duplicate cloud.

Move clouds under the closed snow layers.

If you are choosing not to animate close off the white background layer and save as a .png. It will look like this....

If animating your tag close all of your layers.

Open only the white background & Paper layers.

Copy merged and paste into animation shop.

Make sure propagate paste is on.

Duplicate image for a total of 15 frame.

Select frame one then choose select all.

Open the animation that comes in the kit.

Resize animation to 350 pixels.

Select frame 1 of the animation then select all.

Move frame 1 of the animation to frame one of your paper/background layer focusing the animation over the paper.

View your animation to ensure it runs smooth.

Select all frame.

Change the speed to around 30.

Back in PSP open all layers of your tag.

Close the background and paper layers. (And the name if your want to make a "blank")

Copy Merged and paste into animation shop.

Drag image to frame 1 of your animation.

View animation to ensure it is running smooth.

Save as a .gif or .mng depending on what you are using the tag for ;)

If you closed the name layer to create a blank tag follow the steps above to add your name.

Use your lasso tool to draw a selection starting from the top of the logs up to the black ridges.

On the original layer apply Eyecandy 5 Nature fire with the following settings...

Small Campfire, Fire Direction 90, Column Length 42, Flame Width 11, Expansion -10, Waver 100, Turbulence 72, Flame Intensity 70, Soften Edges 40, Start from bottom checked.

Hit ok.

Close the fireplace layer and open fireplace 2.

Apply Fire again but hit the random seed button.

Close the fireplace layer and open fireplace 3.

Apply Fire again but hit the random seed button.

Deselect.

 

Close Fireplace 3 and open fireplace 1.

Go to Edit, Copy merged.

Paste into animation shop as a new image.

Close Fireplace 1 and open fireplace 2.

Go to Edit, Copy merged.

Paste into animation shop after current frame.

Copy merged & Paste into animation shop after current frame.

Back in PSP change the opacity of the Line 5 to 20.

Change the opacity of line 6 to 80.

Copy merged & Paste into animation shop after current frame.

Back in PSP change the opacity of the Line 5 to 0.

In PSP type out your name in the Cry Kitty font size 16 in black.

Apply Eyecandy 4000 Gradient  glow size 5 in #da6830.

 Dropshadow font.

Edit, Copy.

Paste into animation shop as a new image.

Drag to frame one of your animation.

Save your tag :P

The Ward tut (FTU) (Animated)

Supplies Used:

Nurse Bettie Sue tube by Dark Moon's Dream. Get it at SATC.

FTU kit called the Ward by Irish Bitch Designs. Get it from HERE.

Eyecandy 4000 Gradient Glow

Animation Shop.

Font: Valium

Open a new image size 500 by 500.

C/P Paper Cluster. Resize by 65%. Dropshadow.

C/P Frame 1. Resize by 60%.

Select the inside of the frame with your magic wand. Selections, Modify, Expand by 3.

Add a new raster layer under the frame. C/P Paper 2 into selection. Deselect.

C/P Light. Resize by  50%. Dropshadow. Position as desired under the top part of the frame.

Use your selection tool to remove any part of the wire that is above the frame.

Duplicate the light layer. Apply Gradient Glow of 3. Using your selection tool select from the middle part of the light up. Hit delete to remove the excess gradient glow. (You can skip this part if your will not be animating.)

C/P Blood. Resize by 50%. Change the layer opacity to about 60%.

C/P Table. Resize by 20%. Dropshadow. Position to the left of the doors. (Be mindful it is sitting on the "floor" of the paper.)

C/P Gurney. Resize by 30%. Dropshadow. Position just above the lowest shelf on the table.

C/P Wheelchair. Resize by 20%. Dropshadow. Position over the right side of the gurney.

C/P Bed. Resize by 30%. Dropshadow. Position so the foot of the bed is near the lower right corner of the frame.

Dropshadow frame layer.

C/P Rubble. Resize by  75%. Image, Rotate, Free Rotate 90 degrees. Dropshadow. Duplicate. Position over each side of the frame.

C/P Huggy Jacket. Resize by 20%. Dropshadow. Position over the lower right corner of the frame.

C/P Painkillers. Resize by 15%. Dropshadow. Position just under the top of the huggy Jacket. Change the opacity to 80.

C/P Meds. Resize by 20%. Dropshadow. Position over the painkillers just under the top of the huggy jacket.

C/P Sign. Resize by 30%. Dropshadow. Position towards the middle of the bottom of the frame using your deform tool.

C/P Razor. Resize by 15%. Dropshadow. Use your deform tool to position over the bottom of the huggy jacket.

C/P Bandages. Resize by  10%. Use your deform tool to position over the bottom right corner of the sign.

Duplicate Bandages. Resize by 50%. Image, Mirror. Position to the right of the original.

C/P Vial 1. Resize by 20%. Image, Rotate, Free Rotate 90 degrees. Dropshadow. Position just under the left side of the huggy jacket.

C/P Vial 2. Image, Rotate, Free Rotate 90 degrees. Dropshadow. Use your deform tool to position at a slight angle over the sign.

C/P Equipment. Resize by 30%. Dropshadow. Position over the bottom of the vials.

C/P Scatter. Adjust, Color Balance, Manual color correct. Select your source as the color of the scatter, Target to blood red.

Resize scatter by 50%. Dropshadow. Position under the bottom left of the paper cluster. Duplicate & Flip. Merge down. Duplicate & Mirror.

If you are not animating add your name and your are done. This is what your tag will look like...

If your are animating...

Add a new raster layer. Flood fill black. Move this to the bottom of your layer palette.

Go to edit, Copy Merged.

Paste into animation shop as a new layer.

Back in PSP change the opacity on the light glow layer to 80. Copy Merged.

Paste into animation shop as a new layer.

Back in PSP change the opacity on the light glow layer to 60. Copy Merged.

Paste into animation shop as a new layer.

Select frame 1 on your animation. Go to edit Select all.

Go to edit & Make sure Propagate paste is selected.

Back in PSP type out your font. Apply Eyecandy 4000 Gradient Glow of 2 Fat in black. Dropshadow.

C/P your name only into animation shop.

Drag your name to the first frame of the animation.

View your animation. If your name blinks your forgot to hit propagate paste. Hit the back button on both the animation & your name and repeat the about steps.

Animation Shop.

Open a new image size 500 by 500. Flood fill black (or white if you prefer :)

C/P Paper 4. Apply your mask. Merge group. Stretch mask to fit your canvas.

C/P Frame 4. Resize by 75%. Dropshadow.

C/P Frame 2. Resize by 75%. Center over the red frame.

Using your magic wand select the inside of the silver frame. Selections, Modify, Expand by 2. Add a new raster layer under the frame and flood fill with black.

Dropshadow silver frame.

C/P Stars. Resize by 50%. Dropshadow. Position at the bottom left of the frame.

Open Champagne element. Resize by 50%. Using your lasso tool select around the red glass. C/P onto your tag. Dropshadow.

Back on the Champagne element deselect.Using your lasso tool select around the white glass. C/P onto your tag. Dropshadow.

 Back on the Champagne element deselect.Using your lasso tool select around the blue glass. C/P onto your tag. Dropshadow.

C/P Torch. Resize by 50%. Dropshadow. Use your deform tool to position under the glasses.

C/P Bikini. Resize by  30%. Dropshadow. Position at the bottom left of the elements.

C/P Star 2. Resize by 30%. Dropshadow. Position just under the bottom of the torch.

C/P Star 1. Resize by 30%. Dropshadow. Position over the blue star.

C/P Hat. Resize by 30%. Dropshadow. Use your deform tool to position over the glasses.

C/P Flip Flops. Resize by 30%. Dropshadow. Position over the bottom of the hat.

C/P Firework 3. Resize by 30%. Dropshadow. Position to the top left of your frame.

C/P Firework 1. Resize by 50%. Dropshadow. Use your deform tool to position over the red firework.

C/P Firework 2. Resize by 30%. Dropshadow. Position to the right of the red firework.

C/P Your tube. Dropshadow.

Apply your name using the independence font. Apply inner bevel of choice, Gradient Glow of 3 in white, & Dropshadow.

Add your copyright and watermark.

To Animate:

Co to Edit and make sure Propagate paste is checked.

Close all your layers except your background, Mask, Red frame, & Black fill.

Copy merged Into animation shop as a new image.

Now in psp close the background, Mask, Red Frame, & Black Fill layers. Open all the other layers except your name. (If you are only making one tag you can open your name too :)

Copy Merged and paste into animation shop as a new image.

Back on the background layer. Duplicate your frame until you have a total of 32. (I ended up with 33 so just delete the last frame.

Select your first frame. Edit, Select all.

Open your animations in animation shop. Delete the black layer on both animations. Select the 1st frame. Selections, Select all. Do this on both animations!!

Grab the Red White and blue fireworks. Drag frame 1 of the animation to frame one of your tag. View your animation. It may take a few tries to get the placement correct. If it is not where you like it or the animation is not working just hit the back button on both the tag and the animation then repeat the steps.

Grab frame 1 of the 3 color burst fireworks. Drag frame 1 of the animation to frame one of your tag. View your animation. It may take a few tries to get the placement correct. If it is not where you like it or the animation is not working just hit the back button on both the tag and the animation then repeat the steps.

Grab your image that has all the elements. Drag this to frame 1 of your background layer being careful to position the frame correctly over the black circle. Just keep the mouse button held down until it is in the right spot. Again if it is not right just hit back on both images and try again :)

Back in PSP open your name layer and click on it. Edit, Copy. Paste into animation shop as a new image. Drag you name to frame 1 of your tag. If it blinks hit back on both your tag and your name. Make sure your propagate paste is checked and repeat the drag.

Glitter In Her Eyes tut...(Animated)

Supplies Used:

Eyecandy 4000 Gradient Glow & Alien Skin Xenofex 3 Constellation

Fonts: Sheer Grace & Lauren Script

Animation Shop

Open a new image size 500 by 500.

C/P Half Tone Star. Resize by 90%. Dropshadow.

C/P Glitter Star 1. Resize by 125%. Image, Flip. Dropshadow.

Use your lasso tool to select all the way around the inside of the star.

Add a new raster layer and move under the star. C/P Paper 6 into selection.

C/P your tube or close up as a new layer. Selections, Invert, Delete. Deselect. Dropshadow Close up. Change the layer property to Luminance (L).

Using the Sheer Grace font type out "She's Got". Star another line and type out "In her eyes. Convert to raster layer. Apply inner Bevel of choice. Add Gradient Glow of 3 in white. Dropshadow. Change the layer property to Luminance (L).

Using the Lauren Font  type out the word "Glitter". Apply inner Bevel of choice and dropshadow.

Duplicate your glitter word. Apply Eyecandy Gradient Glow of 3 in white.

Select the top layer in your layer palette.

C/P Tattered Mesh. Resize by 50%. Dropshadow. Image, Flip. Position along the left side of the star frame.

C/P Swirly Doodle. Resize by 50%. Dropshadow. Position over the mesh.

C/P Gem Cluster. Image, Rotate, Free Rotate 90 degrees. Resize by 50%. Dropshadow. Position over the swirl.

C/P Wings. Resize by 50%. Dropshadow. Position with your deform tool at the bottom of the swirl. 

Duplicate wings. Image, Flip. Image, Mirror. Position under the original to fill in the space between the wings.

C/P Flower 6. Resize by 10%. Dropshadow. Duplicate. Position between the top of the wing layers to cover the extra bits from the bottom heart.

Select the top wings layer. C/P Dragonfly. Resize by 10%. Dropshadow. Position over the top of the heart.

C/P Dia Star Cluster. Resize by 30%. Dropshadow. Position next to the wings.

If you choose not to animate add your name using the sheer Grace font. Apply inner bevel of choice and Gradient Glow of 3. Dropshadow.

Don't forget to add your copyright and watermark as well.

This is what the tag will look like...

To animate:

Select your background layer. C/P Paper 1.

Duplicate your bottom Glitter word 2 time for a total of 3.

On the bottom Glitter word apply Alienskin Xenofex 2 Constellation with the following settings...

 Close this layer.

Select your middle glitter word layer. Repeat Alienskin Xenofex 2 constellation but hit the random seed button. Close this layer.

Select your top glitter word layer. Repeat Alienskin Xenofex 2 constellation but hit the random seed button. 

Open animation shop. Go to edit and make sure propagate paste is checked.

In PSP go to edit, Copy Merged. Paste into animation shop as a new image.

Back in PSP Close the top glitter word layer and open the middle one. Copy Merged. Paste into animation shop after current frame.

Back in PSP Close the middle glitter word layer and open the bottom one. Copy Merged. Paste into animation shop after current frame.

 Select the first frame in animation shop. Edit Select all.

Back in PSP type out your name as stated above. Copy into animation shop.

Drag your name to the first frame. View the animation. If your name blinks hit the back button. Again check to make sure propagate paste is checked. As long as it is and you dragged your name to the first frame your name should not blink.

Sign Your Name Tut (Animated)

Ok so this taggie is a bit special. It started as me playing with a kit for the heck of it but once I saw the wordart I knew what I had to do. My wonderful friend Ralf Straaberg drew this piece and he wrote a beautiful story to go with it. The inspiration for this tag then became the beauty of this tube and story. Again this is his story that I got from Deviantart not mine...

 Her heart dropped to the floor....she turned to him, just before she ran. He looked into her hazel eyes. Never had he seen such a deep and profound hurt before. He heard her sobbing all the way down the hallway. It pierced through his heart and soul.

He loved her.He loved Rose. He loved her more than he'd ever loved anyone else his whole life. He loved her smile, the soft lips, and long hair. He didn't care what others thought. NO....no...they could just go fuck themselves. He regretted being so mean. How could he have done something so cruel to the only one who loved him...loved this bastard for who he was and never questioned about his past.

He ran out to find her. He saw her...ran towards her...and then his heart shattered in pieces. There she was on the ground. The tears still on her cheeks. He wrists cut by two deep and angry cuts and in his hand he held her necklace he'd given her...a silver heart saying: Forever yours.

Beware this is one of those gory tags ;)

EyeCandy 4000 Gradient Glow and Glass (Font)

Eyecandy 4000 Drip

Font: Jellyka End_Less Voyage

Start with a new image size 600 by 250. (I know the size is odd but just go with it LOL)

Selection, Select all. C/P Paper 2 into selection. KEEP SELECTED.

C/P Tag into selection. Deselect and add dropshadow.

C/P Your tube. Dropshadow.

C/P Wordart. Resize by 50%. Add Gradient Glow of 3 in White. Dropshadow.

C/P Pretty Blade. Dropshadow and place just under your wordart.

C/P Roses on the left side of the tag. Dropshadow.

C/P Moss. Resize by 40%. Flip and dropshadow. Duplicate. Use your deform tool to position on an angle just inside the roses.

C/P Candle 4. Resize by 40%. Dropshadow. Duplicate. Position just inside each piece of moss.

C/P Standing Stone. Resize by 30%. Dropshadow. Center inside your elements.

C/P Gem. Resize by 20%. Use your deform tool to position to one side of the base of the pillar. Dropshadow. Duplicate and change the layer property to multiply.

C/P Keys. Resize by 20%. Flip. Position over the heart. Dropshadow.

C/P Flower. Resize by 20%. Position just under the pillar and keys. Dropshadow.

Duplicate flower. Resize by 50%. Position under the top of the heart.

Duplicate flower. Adjust, Color Balance, Manual Color Correction. Make sure your source is black and target is dark red.

Duplicate 2 times so you have 3 red flowers. Position so they just peek out from under the pillar.

Add your copyright and Watermark.

If you Don't want to animate skip ahead of this step and add your name. The tag will look like this....

To Animate:

Select the tag layer. Using you pen tool Straight line set to about 5 draw a thin red line at the top of your tag stretching all the way across.

Now move this line so it is just off the top of you tag (Meaning you don't see it.)

Duplicate 2 times for a total of 3.

on the 1st line apply Eyecandy 4000 Drip with these settings...

Select Line 2 .Repeat the effect but hit the random seed button.

Select Line 3 .Repeat the effect but hit the random seed button.

Close layers 2 & 3.

Copy merged. Paste into animation shop as a new animation.

Back in PSP close line 1 and open line 2. Copy Merged and paste into animation shop after current frame. 

Back in PSP close line 2 and open line 3. Copy Merged and paste into animation shop after current frame. 

Go to edit and make sure Propagate paste is checked.

Click frame 1.  Edit, Select all. 

Animation, Frame Properties to 40.

Back in PSP type out your name.

Add Eyecandy 4000 Glass....

Then Gradient glow....

Go to edit, Copy.

Paste into animation shop as a new image. Drag to frame one and Viola!

(If you name blinks just hit undo 2 times on your name and the tag. Then check propagate paste and redrag your name to the tag :P)
