Cemetery Soliloquy tut...

Supplies Used:

Victoria Tube by Celinart Pinup. Get it at SATC.

Graveyard Mist kit by Inzpired Creationz. Get it at SATC.

Eyecandy 4000 Gradient Glow & Glass (Font Only)

Font: Arid ITC

Open a new image size 500 by 500.

C/P Crypt. Resize by 75%. Dropshadow.

Move slightly up and to the right from the center of the canvas.

C/P Moon. Resize by 50%. Dropshadow.

Position UNDER the crypt and to the left.

C/P Clouds. Resize by 75%.

Position over the center of the moon.

C/P Tree 1. Resize by 50%. Dropshadow.

Position the branches over the moon.

Duplicate tree. 

Move the duplicate down to line up with the bottom of the crypt.

C/P Grass.  Resize by 30%. Dropshadow.

Duplicate. Position grass at the bottom of the front of the crypt.

C/P Gate 1. Resize by 50%.

Position the top of the spikes on the gate about 1/3 of the way up the moon.

C/P Gargoyle. Resize by 50%.

Add Dropshadow of 2,2,50, 5 in a light color. Repeat the dropshadow.

(This is just to get the gargoyle to stand out against the similar elements.)

Add your usual black dropshadow.

Position just to the left of the crypt.

C/P Grave 1. Resize by 50%.

Add Dropshadow of 2,2,50, 5 in a light color. Repeat the dropshadow.

Add your usual black dropshadow.

Position to the left of the gargoyle.

C/P Grave 2. Resize by  30%.

Add Dropshadow of 2,2,50, 5 in a light color. Repeat the dropshadow.

 Add your usual black dropshadow.

Position just under the lantern at the bottom of the crypt.

C/P Leaf 1. Resize by  20%. Dropshadow.

Position just over the edge of the lantern at the bottom of the crypt.

C/P Candle 2. Resize by 30%. Dropshadow.

Duplicate. Position candles over the bottom of the cross gravestone.

C/P Candle 3. Resize by 20%. Dropshadow.

Position over the other candles.

C/P Skulls. Resize by 20%. Dropshadow.

Image, Mirror.

Position skulls at the bottom of the candles.

C/P Ghost 1. Resize by 75%.

Change the layer opacity to about 75. 

Position the ghost over the right side of the crypt.

C/P Cemetery sign. Resize by 50. Dropshadow.

Position over the bottom of the ghost.

C/P Graves. Resize by 50%. Dropshadow.

Position UNDER the cemetery sign to fill in the open space.

C/P web 1. Resize by 30%. Dropshadow.

Position web starting over the top left of the crypt.

C/P Web 2. Resize by 30%. Dropshadow.

Position with the left side starting where the other web ends.

C/P Lantern 1. Using your lasso tool delete the bracket.

Deselect.

Resize by 20%. Dropshadow.

Duplicate 3 times. Position lanterns at the peaks of the crypt.

C/P Gargoyle 2. Resize by 20%. Dropshadow.

Position Gargoyle on the roof of the crypt. 

Lower the opacity to about 90.

Type out your font. 

Apply Eyecandy 4000 Glass.

Add gradient glow of 3.

Dropshadow.

Select your background layer.

Add a new raster layer.

Selections, Select all.

C/P Paper 9 into selection.

Deselect.
