Eyecandy 4000 Gradient Glow (Font Only)

Font: Talleyrand

 

Open a new image size 500 by 500.

C/P Element 44.

 Resize by 75%.

Select the inside of the frame using your magic wand.

Selections, Modify, Expand by 3.

Add a new raster layer under the frame layer.

C/P Paper 21 into selection.

Deselect.

Dropshadow frame layer.

C/P Element 78.

Resize by 20%. Dropshadow.

Duplicate stocking.

Position one stocking near the top middle of the frame, The other near the middle of the paper. (Don't worry you can use the arm of your tube to cover the top of the stocking)

C/P Element 85.
Resize by 60%.

Dropshadow.

Position over the right side of the frame.

C/P Element 72.

Resize by 20%.

Erase the excess ribbon at the top of the ornament.

Dropshadow.

Duplicate 4 times for a total of 5.

Position over the existing ornaments on the tree.

C/P Element 73.

Resize by 20%.

Erase the excess ribbon at the top of the ornament.

Dropshadow.

Duplicate 5 times of a total of 6.

Position over the rest of the existing ornaments.

C/P Element 82.

Resize by 15%. Dropshadow.

Duplicate.

Position gifts near the bottom left of the tree.

C/P Element 13.

Image, Flip, Mirror.

Resize by 50%. Dropshadow.

Position over the bottom of the tree.

C/P Element 62.

Resize by 25%.

Using your eraser remove the strings on the bell.

Dropshadow.

Position over the left side of the largest ornament in the cluster.

C/P Element 74.

Resize by 25%.

Dropshadow.

Position under the top of the pine on the bell element.

Duplicate & Flip.

Position under the bottom of the bell.

C/P Element 35.

Resize by 15%. Dropshadow.

Position over the top of the tree.

C/P Element 30.

Resize by 30%. Dropshadow.

Position over the star at the top of the tree.

C/P your tube over the left side of the frame.

Dropshadow.

Type out your font.

Add Inner bevel of choice.

Add Eyecandy 4000 Gradient Glow of 3.

Dropshadow.

Select your background layer.

C/P Element 37.

Resize by 75%. Dropshadow.

C/P Element 86.

Dropshadow.

Position over the point of the star on the right.

Duplicate and mirror.

Duplicate again and use your deform tool to position over the top point of the star.

Holiday Hearth tut...

Texture of choice.

Font: Twinkle Star ROB

Open a new image size 500 by 500.

C/P E3.

Resize by 75%. Dropshadow.

Using your lasso tool select all the way around the inside of the frame.

Add a new raster layer under the frame layer.

Flood Fill color  #004000.

Select your texture in the color palette using black.

Flood fill selection.

C/P E13.

Resize by 65%. Dropshadow.

Position under the bottom right of the frame.

Selections, Invert, Delete.

Deselect.

Dropshadow fireplace.

C/P E15.

Image, Mirror.

Use your lasso tool to select any part of the trees over the fireplace.

Delete.

Deselect.

C/P E9.

Resize by 85%. Dropshadow.

Position at the bottom of the frame.

C/P E19.

Resize by 30%. Dropshadow.

Position near the bottom right of the frame.

C/P E21.

Resize by 50%. Dropshadow.

Position over the left of the gift box.

C/P E45.

Resize by 30%. Dropshadow.

Position over the bottom of the harp.

C/P E22.

Resize by 30%. Dropshadow.

Position to the right of the parcel.

Type out your font.

Apply inner bevel of choice.

Black Ice Tut...

Supplies Used:

Stockings Christmas tube by Roberto Alvarado. Tube was part of the xmas gift 2011 from PTE.

Awesome Goth Christmas scrapkit called Black Ice by my girl Tasha from Tasha's Playground. You can buy this kit at SATC.

Font Used:

Aquarelle

Filter used:

VDL Adrenaline (Snowflakes)

Open a new image size 800 by 800 (You can resize later but be sure to do it before you animate!)

C/P Frame 4.

Using your magic wand tool select all the way around your outer circle.

 Save this selection to disk where you can find it later if you plan to animate.

KEEP SELECTED til I tell you to deselect.

Click on your background layer.

C/P Paper 13 into selection.

C/P Paper 1 into selection. Change the Blend Mode to Luminance.

Deselect.

C/P Tree Element. Resize by 50%. Duplicate 2 times for a total of 3. Position trees ate varying heights on the right side of your frame layer.

C/P Trees. Resize by 50%. Position at the bottom right of you frame layer. You can move the black trees around under it to make it all look full.

C/P House. Resize by 75%. Position between 2 of the black trees so that just the ice shards are sticking out.

C/P Snow mound at the bottom of the frame. Duplicate and mirror.

C/P Snowflake. Resize by 20%. Duplicate a few times and stagger them over the top half of your frame.

C/P your tube. I added a very light drop shadow to mine.

If you want to resize the tag now is a good time to do it.

Add your copyright and watermark.

(If you don't want to animate you can add your name and save now :)

Select your background layer and floodfill with choice of color. I used black and added some red brushes.

Select your Paper 1 Layer.

Selections, Load/Save selection, Load the selection we made earlier.

Add a new raster layer.

Apply VDL Snowflakes with the following settings...

KEEP SELECTED!

Add a new raster layer. Repeat VDL Snowflakes but change your random seed to 100.

Add a new raster layer. Repeat VDL Snowflakes but change your random seed to 200.

Select none.

Hide the top 2 snowflake layers so that only the bottom one is showing.

Copy Merged. Copy into animation shop as a new image.

Close the bottom snowflake layer and open the middle snowflake layer.

Copy Merged. Copy into animation shop after current frame.

Close the Middle snowflake layer and open the top snowflake layer.

Copy Merged. Copy into animation shop after current frame.

Select Frame 1. Edit, Select all. Then go to Animation, Frame Properties and change to 20.

To add your name...Make sure propagate paste is checked in Animation shop.

Back in PSP type out your name. I used color #a52424.

Add inner Bevel with the following settings...

Duplicate inner bevel.

Add same drop shadow you used for your tube.

Change the opacity to 70.

Go to Edit, Copy. C/P into animation shop as a new image. Drag into frame one on your tag. View the animation. If it blinks you forgot to click propagate paste. Just undo the drag and undo on your name. Select Propagate paste and move to the first frame.
