Trimming the tree tut...

Eyecandy 4000 Gradient Glow (Font Only)

Font: Swan song

Open a new image size 500 by 500.

C/P Frame 7. Resize by 50%. Dropshadow.

Use your lasso tool to select around the inside of the frame.

Add a new raster layer under the frame.

Flood fill with color #55593a.

Add another new raster layer.

C/P Paper 3 into selection.

Deselect.

Change the layer property on the paper to multiply.

C/P Snow Tree. Resize by 50%. Dropshadow.

Position over the top right side of the frame.

C/P Lamp. Resize by 50%. Dropshadow.

Position over the right side of the tree.

C/P Tree 8. Resize by 50%. Dropshadow.

Position over the left side of the snowy tree.

C/P Flower string. Resize by 20%.

Image, Rotate, Free rotate 90 degrees.

Change the layer opacity to 90.

Duplicate the flowers 3 times.

Position over the red tree.

Select the red tree layer.

Selections, Select all, Float

Invert selection.

Hit delete on all 4 flower layers.

Deselect.

C/P Silver Bauble. Resize by 10%. 

Duplicate a few times and position over the tree.

C/P Deco 18. Resize by 30%. Dropshadow.

Position at the bottom of the tree.

C/P Deco 6. Resize by 30%. Dropshadow.

Position under the top right edge of the ribbon deco.

C/P White Candle. Resize by 20%. Dropshadow.

Position over the right side of the ribbon deco.

C/P your tube. Dropshadow.

Position over the left side of the frame.

C/P Deco Bow. Resize by 10%.

Position over the fur on the tube's dress.

Type out your font just under the tube layer.

Apply Inner bevel of choice.

Add gradient Glow of 3 in red.

Dropshadow.
