Gothic Love tut (FTU)


Supplies used:
Tubes by Zindy S.D. Neilsen called Queen of the Night (Framed) And Tears Of Yesterday. You can get them at her store HERE.

Grunge Mask of Choice.

Let's Get a move on shall we :P

Open a new canvas size 800 by 800.

C/P Wire. Image, Rotate, Free Rotate 90 degrees (Make sure all layers is unchecked)

C/P Frame 2. Resize by 85%. Using your magic wand tool select all the inside bits of the frame (You don't have to do the edges but I like how it looked). Go to Selections, Modify, Expand by 5. Add a new raster layer. C/P Paper 8 into selection. Select none.Move under your frame layer. Choose your frame layer in your layer palette. With your magic wand select only the inside part of your frame. Selections, Modify, Expand by 5. Add a new Raster layer. C/P Closeup tube into the selection. Deselect and move this under the frame. Add Xero Bad Dream XL with the following settings...
Change your layer properties to Screen and Adjust the opacity to about 75.

C/P Moon. Position in the upper left of your tag. Dropshadow.  Move this to just above the wire layer. Select your top layer. C/P your tall tube on the left side of the frame over the moon. Add drop shadow.

C/P Goth Heart 1. Duplicate a few times and position around the frame and tube layers. Move these Under your moon but above the wire. C/P Nuts. Resize by 50%. Duplicate a few times and position over the goth Hearts.

Open Roses 1,2, and 3. Use your lasso tool to select just the leaves and stems. Adjust, Hue/Saturation both set to 0. Resize each one by 50%. C/P all 3 roses as a new layer. Duplicate each one like 3 times. Starting at the top of the frame position roses to about halfway down. Now go back on each rose and use your eraser to remove any stems that overlap the rosebuds. Hide all your layers but the roses. Click on one rose and merge visible. Adjust, Sharpness, Sharpen.Unhide your other layers. Duplicate roses and flip. They may overlap a bit and if they do just be sure to remove the stems that overlap or stick out.

C/P Cross. Resize by 50%.Use your deform tool to position on an angle pointing into your tag.Position over the bottom of tor rose cluster. Duplicate. Mirror duplicate and position with the bottom slightly lower than the original.

C/P Candles. Resize by 50%. Position just over the bottom of the crosses. Duplicate and Mirror. Position Duplicate just in between the candles on the original. C/P Heart. Resize by 50%. Use the deform tool to position on a slight angle. Duplicate and position hearts over the bottom of the candles. C/P Key. Resize by 50%. Position Over the hearts. C/P Metal Skull. Resize by 75%. Use the deform tool to position on a slight angle over the key so that the top of the key still shows. 

C/P rose 4 & 5. Duplicate Rose 5. Go to Adjust, Color Balance, Manual Color Correction. Select a darker gray to turn rose black. C/P each rose onto your tag and resize by 30%. I duplicated eah one a few times and used these to fill in the empty space under the candles.

C/P Skullfly. Resize by 30%. Position over the center of your rose clusters. Duplicate and use your deform tool to position.

Add your copyright and watermark.

Type your your font. Add Eye candy 4000 Glass...
Then Gradient glow of 3...tab 2 like this...
Then just add your dropshadow :P

Select your background layer. Selects, Select all, Float. C/P Paper 8 into selection. Deselect and add your mask.

Easy Blue tut (FTU)



Supplies used:

Ok this is is super easy tut made for anyone!!

Open a new image size 600 by 600

C/P Glitter frame. Resize by 25%. C/P Frame 3. Resize by 30%. Position glitter frame peeking out from the upper left side.Duplicate, Flip, And Mirror. Back on frame 3 use your magic wand to select all the empty areas of the frame. Selections, Modify, Expand by 5. Add a new raster layer. C/P Paper 7 into selection.

C/P your tube. Add drop shadow as Desired. At this point I decided I did not want so much extra room on the left side of my frame so I used my deform tool  to more in both frame layers and the background layer. (This may not be needed depending on your tube :) Duplicate the metal frame layer. Move to the top. Use your selection or eraser tool to remove any bits that hang over the top of the tube. Use your eraser again to remove any bits of the tube that hang out of the bottom of the frame.

C/P Doodle. Resize by 25%. Adjust, Color Balance, Manual color correction. Select a darker gray to turn the doodle to a black color. Adjust, Sharpness, Sharpen more. Position on the upper right of the frame. Duplicate and flip. 

C/P Ipod. Resize by 15%. Position in the middle of your doodles. Use your magic wand to select the inside frame. Add a new layer. Open paper 6. Use your selection tool to select a small amount of the paper. C/P into selection on your tag. Move under the ipod. Add a new layer. C/P the face of you tube into the selection. Deselect. Change the layer property to Luminance Legacy. C/P Flowers 3 and 4. Resize both by 10%. Duplicate each one a few times and position around the ipod to make a little cluster.

Selections, Select all. Add new raster layer. C/P Fence into selection. Select none. Add your make to fence layer. Move to the bottom of your tag.

Select your top layer. Add your copyright and watermarks.

Type your your test at the bottom of your frame. (I only used caps on the first letter). Go to adjust, Add remove noise with these settings...
Then Eyecandy 4000 Glass...
Then Eyecandy 4000 Gradient Glow...
Repeat gradient glow and add drop shadow.

Heartkiller Tut...



I KNOW I KNOW!! I said I wouldn't tut template tags only do mini tuts but this is a special case. This one was made by my dear friend Magik and well...It's HIM lol.

Supplies Used:

HIM Brushes (I got mine from Deviant art ages ago. The lyric brushes I know were made by DuckySocks...The heartagram I don't remember but the are not hard to find on DA)

Ok in the process of making this tag I just jumped all around LOL. I am gonna try and work my way up from the bottom starting with the template first then come back and add the elements.

Open Template and delete copyright info.
I adjusted my canvas size to 800 and resized later.

Merge your bar layers together. Use the magic wand tool to select both bars.Add a new raster layer. C/P paper 19 into selection. Deselect. You can delete the original bars if you like.

Select the Square Background Layer. Use the magic wand to select the entire Square. Add A new raster Layer. C/P paper 14 Into Selection.Add your Heartagram brush in black. Deselect. Now in your layer Palette select the square frame. Go to Adjust, Color Balance, Negative image.

Select the circle Background. Selection, Select All, Float. Add a new raster layer. C/P paper 4 into selection. Keep select and add your lyric brushes in color #771b4d. Select the circle frame layer and duplicate. On the top layer change the layer property to multiply.

Select your heart frame. Go to Adjust, Color Balance, Negative Image. Select the heart Background. Click heart background with your magic wand. Add a new raster layer. C/P paper 4 into selection. C/P your closeup tube (In my case I had to use the same tube resized to 150%). Make sure you have the closeup tube selected in your layer palette and go to selections, Invert, Delete. Deselect. Change the opacity of your closeup to softlight. Select the flatline. Adjust, Color balance,Manual color correction to #771b4d. Select pixel word strip. Adjust, Color balance, Manual Color Correction to black.

Select the scribble heart. Adjust, Color Balance, Manual Color Correction to #771b4d.

Now for the fun part :)

Add your tube just above the scribble heart. I wanted my text slightly over my tube. I moves all the font layer EXCEPT the pixel layer to the top for now. 

Now starting back on the bottom and coming up...

C/P Parchment. Use your deform tool to position an angle (Or rotate about 15 degrees). Move to the bottom layer.

C/P Clouds. Position over the bars. 

Click on the circle frame layer. C/P the wings. Use your deform tool to make them fit nicely around the frame.

C/P Candle 2. Duplicate 2 times for a total of 3. Position at varying heights along the left side of your heart.

C/P Goblet. Resize by 75%. Adjust, Color Balance, Manual color correct. I selected a light gray to turn the goblet a darker shade. Duplicate and position one just about the other over the candles.

C/P Cross. Resize by 75%. Use your deform tool to position on an angle.

C/P Button. Resize by 75%. position in the space left by the cross.

C/P Slave band. Resize by 25%. Position over the bottom of the cross. 

C/P Razor. Resize by 75%. I position this so part of the "blood" cover the bracelet.

Add Copyright and watermark.

Add your name using #771b4d. Inner Bevel of your choice. Dropshadow. Duplicate your name. On the original add Gradient glow of 3 2nd tab fat. repeat your bevel and dropshadow.

PTU Sorrowful Crow tut (Animated)


Supplies used:
Gorgeous tube by Rosanna Castellino called Sorrow and Gray Sky. Get it from DSI.

Killer kit from my girl at Tasha's Playground called Sorrowful you. This kit you can get exclusively at PTE.
Filters: 
VDL Snowflakes
Eye Candy 4000 Gradient glow

Fonts:
A Lolita Scorned
Jellyka Castle's Queen

Lyrics are from Jane Siberry's song It can't Rain all the time from the movie The Crow. They served for the inspiration for this tag.

Open up the window element. Resize canvas to 800 by 800 (You can resize later)
Resize window to 125%.
C/P Your tube. Dropshadow. Position along the edge of the window on the right side. Use your deform tool to stretch the height of the window to your liking.

Using your selection tool select the area inside the window. Add a new raster layer and move UNDER the frame. 
C/P Paper 8 into selection.
Add another new layer. C/P Paper 2 into selection. Change your layer properties to overlay.
C/P Tree.  Resize by 50%. Add Dropshadow. Position randomly around UNDER the window. (I used 5 trees total). Merge the trees together and change layer properties to burn. Selections, Invert, Delete. Deselect.

Select your Window layer. Use your magic wand to select the inside of the circle at the top of the Window. Selections, Modify, Expand by 5. Add new layer. C/P Button into selection. Selection none. Adjust, Color Balance, Manual Color Correction and change your button to red.
Add dropshadow to the window.

C/P Clock. Dropshaow. Position in the left corner of your window. Move to the bottom.

C/P Net. Resize by 50%. Dropshadow. Position in the upper right corner of the window.
C/P Wings. Dropshadow. Image, Rotate, Free rotate 90 degrees right. I used my lasso tool to delete the band between the wings. 
C/P Leaves. Dropshadow. Resize by 50%. Rotate 90 degrees. Position over wings. Duplicate and flip.

Open Roses. Use your lasso tool to select just the flower portions. Adjust, Color Balance, Manual Color Correction and change your Roses to a dark red. Deselect.
C/P Roses as a new layer. Resize by 50%. Add Dropshadow. Duplicate and flip.

C/P Bird so it looks like he is sitting in the window. Resize by 50%. Add Drop Shadow.
Open Candle 2. Use your selection tool to remove the base. Resize by 75%. Dropshadow.
C/P UNDER your bird. Dropshadow. Duplicate 4 times and position so the candles run up the side of your frame.

Open up the feather. Adjust, Color Balance, Manual Color Correction and change your feather to black. Effects, Edge Effects, Enhance. Resize by 50%. Duplicate.Rotate 90 degrees. Position along the bottom sill of the window.
C/P Branch. Image, Flip. Resize by 50%. Position over feathers.
C/P Spider. Resize by 50% . Effects, Edge Effects, Enhance.

Using A Lolita Scorned Font type out your lyrics. Add Inner Bevel of your choice. Then add gradient glow with the following setting...
Add Drop Shadow and duplicate.

On your original layer go to Adjust, Blur Guassian blur with these settings...

Add your name to the top of the window with the Jellyka Castle queen font. Repeat the steps from above.

Add Copyright and watermark.

If you choose not to have the animation and background save your tag here. It will look something like this...

Moving onto the animation.
Select the bottom layer of your tag. Add a new Raster layer and floodfill with black. 
Add another new layer and floodfill with red texture of your choice.

Now Duplicate your entire tag. (shift and D) On the duplicate ONLY merge all. Go to Image, Picture Frame. Add frame Edge Design 01 (If this is not standard just use a frame you have :) Make sure Frame Canvas and Frame inside the image are selected. Go to Adjust, Color Balance, Negative Image. C/P the frame layer just above your red texture layer on your original. (you can close the duplicate.)

Select your window Layer. Use the selection tool to select only the inside area of the window. Add a new Raster Layer. Use VDL Snowflakes with the following setting...

Then go to Adjust, Blur Motion blur with these settings...
DO NOT DESELECT!!

Duplicate 2 times for a total of 3. Merge these 3 layers together.
Hide this layer. Add a new raster layer and repeat the steps above but change the randow seed on your VDL Snowflakes to 2.

Duplicate 2 times for a total of 3. Merge these 3 layers together.
Hide this layer. Add a new raster layer and repeat the steps above but change the randow seed on your VDL Snowflakes to 4.
Deselect.
Hide the top rain layer and unhide the bottom rain layer. Edit, Copy Merged and paste into animation shop as a new animation.

Hide the bottom rain layer and unhide the middle rain layer. Edit, Copy Merged and paste into animation shop after frame.


Hide the middle rain layer and unhide the top rain layer. Edit, Copy Merged and paste into animation shop after frame.

Edit, Select all. Then go to animation, Frame Properties and change the speed to 20.

Save and enjoy. I would love to see results for this tut :)
